Consultation & Programming
About our consultation & programming
What to expect in a consultation?
During a consultation, you will meet with one of our coaches to discuss your goals, medical history and/or limitations you may have, as well as a fitness assessment to evaluate your current fitness level. You may also choose to do an Evolt360 body scan for a further in-depth analysis of your body composition. You can find out more about our Evolt360 body scans. This information will be used for your coach to then develop a tailored program for you.
What is a fitness program?
A fitness program is a personalised roadmap designed to help you achieve your health and fitness goals effectively and efficiently. Tailored to your specific needs, a fitness program takes into account your current fitness level, lifestyle and aspirations. With a clear focus on your objectives, our fitness programs are designed to challenge and inspire you while keeping your safety a top priority.

A customised program will be tailored specifically to your fitness level, goals, and any limitations you may have. Your coach will also take into consideration your exercise preferences and desired frequency of training. This personalised approach ensures maximum effectiveness and reduces the risk of injury. Your coach will also keep track of your progress and make adjustments to the program as required.
Yes, that is one of the first things our personal trainers do with you. There’s no point jumping straight into training if you have no goals to work towards! They will work with you to identify realistic and achievable – but still challenging – goals based on your individual circumstances. They can provide guidance, track your progress, and adjust your program as needed to ensure you stay on track toward achieving your goals.
Your program will be carefully designed to align with your goals and preferences. It may include a combination of weight training, cardio, flexibility work, or other types of training to help you achieve your goals.
The number of training days per week will depend on your goals, fitness level, and how often you are available to train. It is important to find a balance that allows you to make progress, while also giving your body time to rest and recover between sessions. Your coach can help you determine how many days of training per week would be ideal for you.
Absolutely. Our coaches take into account any physical limitations, injuries, or medical conditions you may have. Your program will be adapted to accommodate you and your limitations, ensuring you can train safely.
Most programs will typically run for between 6 – 12 weeks before major updates or changes are made. The duration of your program will depend on your training experience, your goals and how quickly you progress. Your coach will regularly assess your performance and may make minor adjustments to the program to keep it challenging and effective.
It’s essential that you inform your coach about any injuries or medical conditions you have before starting your training program. During your consultation, you will be asked to fill out a health questionnaire that will help your coach understand your medical history better. In some cases, a medical clearance from your doctor or health professional may be required to ensure your safety during exercise and to make appropriate adjustments to your program.
