Mick has an impressive background in sales, having achieved recognition as a Top 10 Salesperson for Australia’s largest sports retail brand. He also holds a Bachelor of Digital Media and is a freelance graphic designer, showcasing his versatile and diverse skill set. In his spare time, he designs logos, promotional material and creates digital art for sole traders and small businesses.
Mick enjoys strength training and running, you’ll often catch him training at the gym before work. His genuine passion for the gym and fitness industry, combined with his outstanding sales background makes him an extremely valuable addition to our team.
Monique brings a diverse and varied skillset, with experience in sales and life coaching, along with a genuine passion for health and wellness. She’s committed to supporting our members along their fitness journeys, empowering them to achieve their goals. This is driven by her personal dedication to her own personal growth, centred around wellness of the body, mind and soul. Monique’s personal drive for growth and improvement makes her an invaluable part of the team.
Nicola (or Nic for short!) is a skilled marketer with a keen interest in social media content creation and branding. As our marketing expert, she manages our digital and print marketing, as well as all our social media channels. Working at ONYX, Nic is obviously super passionate about health and fitness! She is currently studying her Cert III & IV in Fitness with plans to follow that with nutrition, setting her up for an exciting little side hustle!
Liana is super passionate about the gym and prides herself on always striving to create a welcoming environment so everyone can feel comfortable to challenge themselves and achieve their best. With two years’ experience working at her local gym in country NSW as a Gym Sales Receptionist and Group Trainer with a Cert III in Fitness, she relocated to Sydney to pursue her love for dancing. Currently studying her Cert IV in Dance, Liana continues to fulfill her passion for the gym and fitness, working at ONYX where she thrives in supporting others on their fitness journeys.
Connor’s background spans corporate sales, customer service and operations. Outside the office, he is an amateur boxer and boxing coach, having even cornered professional boxing matches, and naturally, he loves the gym. Having decided to move away from corporate life, Connor chose to align his passions for boxing and fitness, coming on board Team ONYX. Connor brings a composed and thoughtful approach to his work, perfect for problem-solving and thinking outside the box.
Steven brings a background in sales and finance to ONYX and is also currently a student studying a Bachelor of Construction Management and Property. Whilst he pursues his studies, he’s also chosen to combine his passion for fitness with hands-on industry experience, joining the ONYX team. Steven lives and breathes the gym lifestyle; he speaks the language and is highly knowledgeable about gym equipment.
